FM Logistic launches new groupage services, strengthening regional supply chains across Central and Eastern Europe

Since the beginning of 2026, FM Logistic has launched three new LTL transport routes to Austria, Germany, and the Baltic states. The logistics operator is expanding its European transport network in response to evolving market requirements, the growing importance of regional supply chains, and increasing demand for more frequent deliveries of smaller consignments. The new services provide daily departures and optimised transit times.

European supply chains are currently undergoing a significant transformation. Companies are increasingly shortening and regionalising their distribution networks. These changes are driven by growing cost pressures, the need to reduce inventory levels, and rapidly shifting demand. As a result, transport solutions that enable faster responses to changing market demands and more efficient delivery planning are becoming increasingly important.

Central and Eastern Europe is emerging as one of the principal beneficiaries of these developments, with Poland further strengthening its position as one of the region’s key logistics hubs. In response to these trends, FM Logistic is continuing to expand its LTL transport network.

The new services provide regular departures to Germany, Austria and the Baltic states and form part of the continued expansion of FM Logistic’s regional transport network. Transit times are 2–3 working days for Germany, Lithuania, and Latvia, and 3–4 working days for Austria and Estonia.

The new routes reflect the growing importance of regional transport corridors across Europe. Germany remains Poland’s largest trading partner, accounting for more than a quarter of the country’s exports. Austria plays a key role in goods distribution across Central Europe, while the Baltic states are becoming ever more important as a result of the development of the Via Baltica corridor and north-south transport infrastructure.

These markets are playing an increasingly vital role in the development of regional distribution networks serving Central and Eastern Europe.
