MAKRO Polska, a leading wholesaler serving professional clients in the HoReCa and traditional trade sectors, and FM Logistic, a global logistics provider, have signed a five-year extension to their existing agreement.
The contract extension marks the continuation of a partnership that has been ongoing for almost 12 years. Logistics services for MAKRO Polska are provided from FM Fresh’s distribution centre in Mszczonów. Under the contract, FM Logistic delivers warehousing and transport services for the client. The services cover the fresh food segment, including dairy products, processed fish, and fresh produce, namely fruit and vegetables, meat, and fish. The nature of these products requires stringent handling standards. To ensure the highest product quality, all logistics operations are carried out across several temperature-controlled zones: 0-2°C, 2-4°C, and 8-12°C.
